You'll pick up better fuel mileage without the cat and a couple of HP. The engine will sound better too.
My exhaust smelled pretty bad without a cat

I have heard mixed reviews of getting better mileage without the cat. Lew said I would not get better mileage without the cat. Anybody have anybody have any evidence of increased miles per gallon

I get about 1-2 MPG better in normal driving, and I picked up 5 MPG on a long trip.

As long as the cat overtemp is shut off in your tune, you should pick up some MPG.
