Question 427 conversion

whats up i need your help. i just got into new cars. im good with old f bodies but clueless with new ones. now i will be buying a 98-02 trans am within the next month. now i found @ speedinc they have a 427 conversion package. now i need to know can i buy a v6 firebird and drop a ls1 with the 6 speed trans or is this too much. also is this conversion kit worth or can i do better things for the amount of money(16000). one more thing what year, and model (v6 trans am or formula) should i get for this conversion is any year or model better than others. thanks

Default

Get a 98 or up V6.

Change motor,harness, and tranny.
Change out the K-member and do the lower A-arms with hals at the same time.

Drive shaft is the same but you do need to change out the carrier inside the rearend. It is a one wheel wonder carrier. Put a posi unit in it and you are done.

If you found a beater V6 for a really good price, you could do it for $16000.
