With code "visa" and going through ebates it's right at $100 before tax. Pretty much the same thing as both the $80 and $200 ones you find online. Filter is pretty big though and I had to buy an extra coupler section for my setup, you might or might not. Using a stock tb.

I feel after spending close to 10k on my swap and with the love i have for my car, using dryer vent for my cai cheapens the look of the build. But it will work. We dont hate.

Ya, well I suppose if duct tape and dryer hose is what you want then by all means have at it. Silicone elbows and aluminum pipe are pretty cheap and easy to work with, not to mention they have at least some degree of longevity and quality when used correctly. All a matter of opinion and preference I guess.

And pay out the *** for something that isnt necessarily needed and can be fabricated to function correctly for fractions of the price.

It works very well..it can look cheap all it wants..I'll put money on the fact that it performs just as well as a smooth piped setup.

Hey if the **** fits, wear it.
The duct tape is there patching a split in it..I'm looking into something to sleeve it with to cover the whole thing..havent found it yet. If they made black shrinkwrap that big it would be bad ***..it would hold it's shape when I took the Heatgun to it..

It might look cheap to some of you guys..I'm not too concerned with it, it's not a forced inducton car, and the air demand from the Engine doesnt exceed the capability of the ducting.
I personally dont like the look of silicone bends and straight sections and more bends band-clamped on..it looks like to me.
I setup this with one piece and the ends are where I had to integrate it..that looks the smoothest to me IMO..
I'm shooting for 500rwhp on the ole Lowes Intake..and hopefully a 10 sec pass too.
The term here should be cheap and effective.
