Do you have any clearance problems? I.E. starter, wires etc. I've heard you can't get to your starter without dropping SLP longtubes on 98 + up LS1's is this true?

Don't know about the starter. I just don't like speedbumps.

put mine on yesterday had to pull starter wire away a little bit not to bad though.be sure to pull any wires running down the car from the compter to the back of the firewall,I didnt and had to open the loom and move wires 1at a time to get slack I needed.one more thing make sure your car has about 10 inches ground clearance from the bottom of the tire otherwise headers wont fit.

I have been running my SLP headers for 3 years. No problems. I believe most L/T headers will hang a little lower than stock. Speed bumps are there for a reason - you are suppose to low down.

No problems here either except when the car was lowered with the Hotchkis springs which dropped it about 2" so I went back to the stock springs. A 1" drop should be fine.
