Default 80 firebird rear frame rot

a friend has a firebird with a 455 pontiac, with the top end recently redone.
after getting it so its driveable, we noticed the rear frame is badly in need of replacement.

if anyone knows or has suggestions on what to do and where to go for parts.

jegs had a chassis kit that would supply most of whats needed.

i think art morrison is the best way to go, but might be too expensive for him.
maybe just the frame from ame, and all the suspension parts from jegs.

we would probably like to have to modify as little as possible.
keep stock gastank, keep rear seats...

if there is a good frame raplacement that still uses stock suspension and location, it might help keep the cost down, but
we arent against going to a 4 link, ladder bar, and coilovers...

the stock rail replacement sections arent good enough to fix the issue in my opinion.

I repaired a few in my time. I cleaned everything off to bare metal and made parts from 16 gauge sheet metal then mig welded it all in. I think if you look around the net you can find repair pieces to weld in.

its pretty rotten, not enough good metal on the sides to box over the bottom. even the little lip that meets up with the floorpan looks crusty, so it all needs to be replaced up to the floorpan.
16 gauge or those repair sections arent going to cut it.
