Hey everyone, I have no experience RR but plan to start this year. I just want to have fun with it on a road course a few times a year doing track days/HPDE. My car is a daily driver in the summer also...
I would like your opinion on what torque arm setup that would be best for my cars usage? (I really just want to upgrade the stamped stock TA and relocate it off the transmission)
I do love to drag race even though my suspension will be setup for handling. A stronger rearend is in the future and I would like it shortened on both sides 1"-2". Would this have any negative effect on handling? Or any effect I should know? The reason I want to shorten it is to run a lower offset wheel to have a deeper "lip" than I normally could.
I've been deadset on Koni/Strano springs and as you all recommended this as a good street/track car combo. I'm just wondering is there a way to bring the ride height even lower and still handle as good? Cost aside seriously, what could I do to bring the ride height really low, have decent street manners, and handle good too?
I could live without the shorter axle, stick with the koni/strano ride height, if I'm trading off too much for it. These two things I want are for aesthetic reasons afterall...
