Conversions & Hybrids - how to wire LS1 in mustang

ok can anyone send me to a link.. i have searched and searched and cant find it any were... im using a stock drive by wire truck harness from a 2005 with a drive by wire pedal. and stock truck computer... If this has been beaten with a stick im sorry i just couldnt find it any were using google or the search tab

car its going in is a 92 mustang with the factory engine harness and computer removed

Find someone with access to Alldata and get a pinout for that harness, once you see the pinout you'll see what can be removed and what needs key power and constant power, ground and etc.

the thing is its a 2005 harness with drive by wire... i cant find anything on it

Id try selling it and buying one from psiconversion. You should make up over half the cost of the new harness thats already done.

Ya, that's the best way to do it. My swap was soooo easy to wire with the speartech harness.
