Default WTB - Stock LS1 rod

2001 WS6 ... spun a rod bearing and that rod is trashed. All my parts were checked by the machine shop and after replacing the crank all I need now is to send him a fresh rod and I can put my motor back together.

Surely someone has a stock rod laying around that they can sell and ship to me in Memphis?

I have a set of rods/pistons from an 04 5.3 with 5000 miles that would be the same. I can can send you one rod/piston assembly if you are interested in going that route. I'm thinking around 35 bucks to cover shipping and a little of my time to get it sent out.

I don't even need the piston ... just a rod.

Lemme see who offers what and I'll get back with ya.

I know you don't need the piston but I'd have to have it pressed off before shipping it and it's not worth that much. I figured since you would need to have the piston swapped anyway that having to press one off the new rod wouldn't make much difference. It's not like I'm charging you for the piston(or the rod for that matter). Just want to cover fuel, time, and shipping charges.

Oh yeah, I mean there's no need to press it off. Just throwing out that I don't need the piston in case someone has just a rod w/ out a piston.
