Racetronix Pnp Harness question

Racetronix Pnp Harness question So I had the fuel pump replaced with a racetronix pump and got the racetronix Pnp harness. Now prior to install the cars voltage was at the norm about 14 volts.
Now its at appox 16 volts and the dash lights strobe/blink/pulsate ever so slightly. Went over it make sure things were all ok. Looked ok, but what could I have over looked or is the alternator taking a ****? Is the ground not good enough? Maybe a capacator?
Just need some insite and direction thats all!
