Default Gained 40 hp with ported LS6 heads

Had a great time at the RPM Dyno day.. Perfect weather.. I got a sunburn in February.. LOL only in Texas..

Chris Robinson did a great job with his new updates and aggressive tweaks.. If you haven't had his updates, give him a call as they are well worth it!

With the addition of the new tune and my SDPC LS6 ported heads, the car picked up a solid 40 rwhp unlocked and locked over the stcok #317 Escalade heads last time which was cam only.. 40 hp is amazing considering me and some friends lapped in the stock valves and my good friend Matt Baskett cleaned the CNC grooves out of the heads.. He is turning into quite the head porter BTW. The heads were only surfaced .010" as well.. I imagine the C/R is only about 10.3:1 with the flat tops and the 4" bore.

The guys at RPM told me the numbers were fairly impressive and one of very few hit at least 400hp unlocked on their dyno.. That was cool.. Another cool seen was when the exhaust cought fire on the header collector LOL.. Apparently a plastic bag had stuck under the car.. Great smell..

Once again great time.. Thanks to RPM crew and Robinson.. Good to see friends out there and the new people I met. There were some killer cars out there..

The A4 car with 3.73s and mods in sig below made:
  • 408.6 hp and 407.6 tq unlocked..
  • 425.1 hp and 385.1 tq locked..
  • 441.3 max uncorrected hp

Those are nice heads. I seriously considered those for my build up.

Congrats!

Great job with the test parameters! This is one of the few balanced and highest A4's I have seen with excellent results.

RPM had an awsome turn out. Was cool to watch all the cars dyno and put up more power than my Heads and Cam car.

Need to figure out what is going on. I think me and eller can figure it out.
