Any of you cme owners out there got any tips on cleaning them? Any suggestions on cleaners would be helpful. Thanks in advance

Those things are terrible to clean. I usually took Mothers aluminum polish and a buffer to them every time. You can do aluminum polish by hand, but it's going to take longer.

Hope that helps, but to tell you the truth, I ditched mine and used the SLP Loudmouth tips with my CME valence. All I do to clean them is spray wheel cleaner on them and run the wash rag over them once. MUCH BETTER! They look better IMO, too.

I used a high grit sandpaper and cleaned them with that after every wash with some water. Keeps them clean, but not exactly shiney, but anything is better than BLACK and ugly.

Any other ideas? I used a Dremel tool with a light abrasive buff to get the black junk off and then spent another hour going over them with metal polish by hand. They still don't look that great.

I use Mothers Billet Metal Polish and it works great. Takes the black right off. I do it about once a month and just wash it in between and it stays nice and clean.
