Default 4l80e bolt yoke removal

Hey all, i have a 1999 c-2500 with a 4l80e. Im thinking i need to replace the seal on the back of it but in order to get the seal off i need to take the yoke out of the trans. My trans has a bolt on Yoke. How do i get that out with out destroying the parking pawl and the inside of the trans? Do i just loosen it like a normal bolt? also does anyone have the torque specs for re-tightining it when im done?

Thanks

BTW- i know this is a LS1 forum for performance cars and stuff, but from reading the posts here it seems like a lot of yall have experience with messin with 4l80e yokes compared to truck forums

thanks, y'all think a socket and large cheater bar would work as well? or would this risk damaging the trans?

Yes a cheater bar will work just fine if you do not have an impact.

Bringing this one back from the dead.

I just got a 4L80E and it too has the bolt-on yoke. I have a breaker bar but not an impact gun. Is there a way to lock the trans so I can remove the bolt without an impact gun?
