Flycutting LS3 pistons.
Is it possible to flycut LS3 pistons, or is there not enough material in the crown???
I've been told that there is not enough "meat on top" of LS3 pistons to allow any flycutting...
Anybody???

You didn't mention the manufacturer and model of the pistons.
I suggest contacting the manufacturer first, since they should have precise specs on your piston.

Go over to the corvetteforums and talk to spinmonster!!! Yes you can flycut them. With milling LS3 heads most cams will require you to flycut!! The g6x3 requires .080 cut while alot of cams require .060 . Spinmonster also rents the tools to do the job. I did it and it was stupid easy!!
