I wanted to do this to finish off my last set of tires, but I didnt have the ***** to do it, scared to break my diff, LOL.

I am a gamblin man, but 1800 bucks and a tow ride home for a burnout isnt a good enough gamble for me.

this is the same boat im in but as y2k knows all too well the tow home isn't a problem for me. pic of my daily towing what he sold to buy his new v lol

Your diff isn't going to break from doing donuts. You don't get any hop when you go sideways. Just start moving and cut the wheel before you spin the tires.
