ws6 exhaust Just bought a ws6 02 CE ls1 it came with a glass pack with a turndown tip and stock manifolds and cats its not loud at idle but ggets a lil louder when I get on it. Any ideas on how to open it up? I like loud and throaty, id like some full exhaust set up ideas please thanks

I'm in Jacksonville FL,and will it loose its giddy up with out cats? Or burn the valves up? I have a magnapack I wanna put on it. Will no cats and magnapack be enough back pressure?

It really doesnt get any louder than LM1 behind a set of LT headers without cats. I dont know if taking the cats off a mufflered system such as ws6, hooker or magnaflow will make it that much louder because you would still have a muffler. However buddys car with my setup minus cats is much louder than mine. Hes ditching it soon.

Get headers and eaither high flow cats or offroad y pipe and get the slp loudmouth. I have that set up on my 01 ws6 only with hollowed out cats and it is one of the loudest and most agressive that I have heard.

No that would sound bad imo. If you a on a budget you could do LT's, ORY, with a cut out in the stock exhaust. I would do a full exhaust though but either one would work. The only difference would be the stock cb is 2.75 vs a full aftermarket 3".
