Default crankshaft and camshaft position sensor help

okay, earlier i reported my 98 firebird 3.8 v6 would not start. i have came upon information that it would likely be my ignition control module or my crank/camshaft sensors. these two sensors give input to the control module to tell when to ignite which plug i suppose. the thing i am wondering before jumping into spending and taking things out is how to replace these sensors. i'm going to check and do some limiting on whether it's my control module, or these two sensors. thanks please respond
