Default New N/A best

Took the Formula out for the first runs with edit. I just wanted some baselines and wasn't even looking for a new best. We had the converter locking in high gear WAY early and still ran a new best of 11.38 in 65 degree mediocre weather. We really picked up some low end and I ran a 7.19 1/8th. I still plan on taking another 150-170 lbs off the car and fine tuning the shifts and I believe 11.10's may be possible. Now I need some low DA's! Raceweight was 3310. Upcoming mods include: Strange brakes on all 4, manual master cylinder, !abs, !rest of climate control, !air bags, pin on hood and some other unnecessary stuff for weight removal. I want to go sub 11.20's and will try at least through the spring. Later!

Very nice times!!!! Your car seems a lot like mine (after you do all that weight reduction)

Can you list all your mods? your mph is amazing! How much does locking up do for your MPH? I never locked up on my passes.

10.99 looks like making the car a shell so that wont happen. I believe we got the tuning down now so we will go back out on a good weather day and see what happens. I'm running a yank tp4400 but it could use just a bit more converter for sure. I may send it back and see if we can add 3-400 more stall to her. Getting the weight down is the best bet for lower et at this point. I may be wrong but locking up does nothing for the et but hurt it. It nosed over on lock up. I ran better mph on good weather days with just hypertech tuning and we made decent power increases across the board with edit and the dyno.

I'll be disgusted to see no airbags or hvac. C'mon, leave that stuff in. Lose it somewhere else. Cut out the floorpans or something!!!!

That is one fast car for no heads or cam. I believe with a little good weather and at the right place at the right time you will set a new record for the fastest car in this category. Go for it and cheers.

I just dont see the need for the air bags and I dont have ac and dont drive the car if its too cold out so I have no need for that stuff either. Both are invisible mods anyway since they cant be seen except for the drivers air bag. A nice Grant wheel will look better anyways. I'll definately be back out when some cold air and high pressure arrive.
Gonna put the BMR rear sway bar on tomarrow and see if it helps. More stall would help also.
