Need a Walbro 255.... Sponsors?
Who's got a good price for me?? My tuner called and said I'm leaning out up top and my new injectors are wide open because of the pump running out of room.
He recommended a Walboro 255. Who's got a good price for me?
And................. I'm looking at a 40/40 gain from my 102/102 swap. I'll post a thread in the dyno room when I'm 100% done.
I found one here.

why not go with the racetronix? yeah its a walbro, but it also fits exactly like factory unlike any other walbro you will buy. With any walbro other than the racetronix you will have to cut your fuel bucket, and the racetronix uses a factory style fuel line off the pump unlike the black rubber hoses that burst all the time.
I was very impressed on how the racetonix walbro fit so perfectly and i didn't have to modify one thing
sorry to sound like a racetronix salesmen but i'v had a regular walbro with the black rubber style hose and that thing burst in less than 500 miles. Just spend the extra $50 for piece of mind.
You may have known all this but it's just my 2 cents.

^ My tax return was due on friday and still didn't come in, so I'm taking it day by day right now. SHOULD be any day now.
I was thinking Racetronix, but my tuner said he's been using the BBK/Walboro 255's in the Vettes for years..... Said the RT's are expensive, but from my end it only looks like an extra $50. No big deal to me. He's gotta take the tank down anyway to fix an EVAP solenoid.
I'm gonna see if I can FIND the BBK one he's talking about.

^ No thanks. I'm gonna go with the Racetronics for $20 more. And it doesn't have that rubber line that, apparently, can be problematic.
I appreciate the help everyone!

Yes, but adding a fuel pump with no other changes should not require a retune...now, that being said, adding a Racetronix setup with factory plumbing with the return back by the fuel filter will usually result in the base pressure going from 58 to about 62 psi at the rails. All else kept the same (including injector pulse width), the added pressure will add additional fuel that wasn't there before. You might need a retune for that change in pressure, but that all depends on how your car reacts to it.
A fuel pump doesn't add performance or magically change anything under ideal conditions - it simply supplies the volume of fuel required, nothing more, nothing less.
