I'm pretty sure they're a "softer" lobe, like what you'd see in a boat motor that sits at over 5000RPM for most of its life.

They are a high lift endurance lobe that give outstanding valve control with larger, heavier valvetrain. Although they are not as fast as LSL lobes, they will often out-rev them by 500 rpm and make much better high rpm power. When you see dyno sheets crash pretty fast above 5800 rpm, it is usually valve control related. The HUC lobes will often cure the valve control woes. Think of them as a modern marine lobe. Good stuff in the right application.

"The HUC series hydraulic rollers are very smooth designs intended for high rpm use with heavy valves. These are very similar to the Xtreme Marine
High Lift Lobe series but are slightly more stable."

When did Comp start making these lobes? It seems like these are going to be the new flavor of the week to help keep valvetrain in check.
