I would like to know this too.

I have seen some cheap Dolphin brand gauges on ebay, but it seems too good to be true when the autometer and classic gauges are twice the price.

Also, has anyone use speedhut.com gauges?

I'm running VDO gauges in my 1981 TA. They look and work great, but are pricey. $600 for tach, speedo, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, voltage and fuel level + all the sending units. Got the whole set up from eGauges.com (awesome customer service, btw).

Dakota Digital for the Malibu/Monte Carlo. I'll put a picture up tomorrow, it's not in the dash or wired, but I have it mocked up inside the gauge surround.

I used the stock guage cluster that is in front of the steering wheel in my 1968 Camaro. The 5" electronic Autometer Antique beige guages fit perfect. I also put the other 4 guages on the center console where the stock square ones went. There are pics of them in my garage on this site. I hooked everything up electronically since the engine already has all the sensors on it. I wanted the conversion to look as close to stock as possible.

Stock 92 Firebird gauges. Whole cluster works just like it did back in 1992

Added ebay glowshift boost/fuel pressure gauges with the blower. They're accurate enough to justify using

I am using Classic Instruments gauges.
I have not had an opportunity to test them out yet, but I don't foresee any issues using them.

Pocket, I'm doing a 91 corvette swap. Our gauges should be similar. Did you have to use any converters?

No, just connect the proper wires and it works. Had to run a booster wire for the tach, but otherwise 1:1 connection

I have Dolphin gauges except the temp guage, that is autometer, Dolphin said theirs wouldnt work with the autometer sender I put in the pass head. They work great, great price. I did have to hook up my speedo to the wire off the trans though, not the supplied one from the PCM

I was going to build a custom instrument panel with aftermarket gauges but my daughter objected saying it would destroy the natural character of the car. So here is my compromise:
