Im looking to buy a 02-04 corvette zo6 camshaft, going on a sleeper ls1, and i figured this would be the best cam, but how would i distinguish this cam from the 01 z06 or cts v or even the ls1.

do you know what the 01 zo6 cam says? also ls2?

O1 LS6 cam will have 0950 on it. GM prints the last 4 digits of the cam's part # on the back of their Gen 3 cams. I haven't seen enough Gen 4 cams to know if they continued the practice. I do not know the GM part # for the LS2 cam. Although it is the same duration and lift as the 01 LS6 cam it does not have the reluctor for the cam position sensor on the back journal. The LS2 used a timing chain cover mounted cam position sensor so the reluctor is built into the cam gear.
