Pacesetter Mid Length Headers
My SS is lowered and I already rub with the stock exhaust so long tubes are not an option.
Are the Pacesetter (or any other) Mid Length headers worth installing?

Wait for it, ..., wait for it, ..., Here comes all the "Long Tubes or Nothing" promoters!
Seriously, there are people who use the mid-length product & make good power.
It all depends on your application & requirements.
Like you said, you're concerned about hitting them & do not want long tubes.
I'd be willing to bet there'll still be person after person come tell you to do long tubes anyway.
And the mid-length will give some breathing improvement over the stock manifolds.
So if you're not worried about all out max-power needs, then go for it.

Thanks for your answer, I am not looking for every last hp/tq available. Just want to make improvements that make sense over stock as I go along. Eventually, they all add up.
Already has BBK SSI intake and meter, lid, and Predator computer tuner.
As a follow up, are there y pipes that flow better than the factory ones and will hook up to the mid length headers?
