My mechanic informed me after putting on my LT headers and hi-flow cats that I'd probably have an issue with e-test, but it passed, and not just barely either.

HC 2500 rpm: limit 150 reading 18 idle: limit 150 reading 48
CO% 2500 rpm: limit .70 reading .18 idle: limit .70 reading .01
NO ppm: N/A

I was expecting to have to spend to the $450 limit, but paid less than 10% of that, just the test! Must be able to eat off the inside the engine. ;)

I managed to pass with a chewed up TR224 cam last Feb. The headers + cats make no difference on the test. I did that years ago without a tune and passed with nearly 0 emissions.

Once you do heads and cam, there are little tricks you can do to pass, but it'll mostly be with idle. The car's program will work wonders getting you to run "emissions" friendly at speed.

i pass emission with 224/224 112lsa header + true dual, air & egr delete and the best part i tuned it my self all i have to do before i head out for emission i change it to lean a bit then after they done reupload my current tune :D
my next goal is 236/242 112 lsa try to pass with that cam + head

By the time my car gets e-tested next, we'll be doing OBD2 scanning for idle.

I see they did a 2 speed idle instead of putting it on the dyno. That gives you quite a bit more room on the limits and Nox is not measured then. Nox was the only thing I was close on with mine running LT's and a cam.
