Gears & Axles - lt1 drivehaft swap to ls1 driveshaft

I have a 95 trans am with the factory steel driveshaft and was thinkin about changing to a 98-02 aluminum driveshaft. I ran across one for sale for a good deal and was wondering what improvements I would see 1/8th mile wise?

Peace of mind... and having a one piece driveshaft. I believe the LT1 are 2 piece? Plus it'll weigh alittle less

it is lighter, you would see a benefit, but idk how much.

LT1 driveshafts are one piece.
