Default timing question

im trying to track down a hesitation problem. anyway so i was scanning my car while driving. just kinda watching what it was doing. i noticed at idle timing was at 22 degrees. going thru the rpm range i noticed it got up to about 50 degrees. is that normal?

What are you scanning with? A lot depends on the year of the car.

You could always look at a stock tune for your can online and look at the Spark tables. RPM will also play a huge difference.
