ws6 build
ive had my ws6 for years not and havent done much to it really. now i almost have it paid it off so now its time to get it where i want it. i have a goal of 480 rwhp and ill throw in what my plans are and im looking for people to give me some more ideas.
its a 2000 ws6 m6 with 34000 miles on the odo
List of things already done.
-Eibach pro kit
-BMR LCA
-SLP bolt in Subframes
-SSBC big brake kit
-MAC cat back
-SLP lid
List of what im thinking about getting
MS3 Cam
Stage 2.5 5.3 heads
ported ls6 intake
36 lb injectors
kooks headers(not really sure what size to go with) w/ ORY
ported throttle body
moser 9 with 3.89
and of course a tune
what else should i do? and what parts would you swap out instead of what i have listed?

Are you talking about 480 at the wheels or at the flywheel? if you want that much to the wheels your going to have to go with some better heads like AFR or Trickflow. also a FAST 102mm with throttle body to match. you will want the Kooks 1 7/8 headers for max power. you will have 480 at the flywheel with that set up but I highly doubt it at the wheels without better heads and FAST 102mm

I would do a stroker motor. 480 rwhp is alot with just H/C/I.
But if you want to try you could also need
42lb injectors, Fast intake, New oil pump, Valve springs for the cam, Pushrods, lifters, Rockers rebuilt or new ones, timing chain, head gaskets, intake gaskets, bigger Mass air... There are probably more but thats all I can think of right now.. My guess would be 430-450 rwhp with a tune..

lq4 or lq9 with miled 243 heads, with matching cam. fast 90/90, tune. all supporting bolt ons. sell your good running ls1 engine. if your concerned about added weight, from iron block. swap to tubular kmember.
now would be god time to upgrade to poly motor/trans mounts also.
that 6.0 will have no prob making 480+ with correct parts.
