nope... you'll only need a 92mm TB so a 100mm MAF won't do you any good.

if you will try to match your combo to eliminate turbulence its a good upgrade. I say money better spent elsewhere definitely thou. Look @ snow performance water meth kit & run on SD-Tune !! I'm JUST SAYIN .. 4xx would love the higher octane ! N/A or Juice added

i have the tsp 100mm maf on my 102. the only problem i have delt with was the housing is aluminum and is bad about heat soaking the iat sensor. i fixed this by relocating my iat sensor and problems solved.

For one, even a 4" intake pipe with a stock 90mm TB shows gains. Second, he just said he plans on going with a FAST 102 so it will definitely match up.

With all that...I would still go purely SD without any sort of MAF.

IMO...only update the air intake pipe size if you're going to match it. Example: 100mm MAF, 102mm TB & FAST 102. This will give you unrestricted airflow and prove some gains as well. If you're going with the 102 and 100mm MAF but aren't changing the TB then I wouldn't bother.

ive got a 104mm ftp intake to a 100mm tsp maf to a 95mm ptm tb (to a ported ls3 topend to my 402" ls2)

im not sure if its any better than a 4" on an SD tune but i figure at least its not bottlenecked.

i still have to do this. thanks for reminding me.

im not sure this is a great example but wtf. My car last year was put on a mustang dyno around this time and put down i think 446 whp 41X torque corrected with a mail order tune slp lid and stock maf. In july i went to a diff dyno (still a mustang) to get it tuned with the tsp 100 maf and ftp 104 lid. ended up with 474whp and 435 torque. picked up on average 4-6 mph on trap speed depending on temps. this is prob more to do with the tune but i figured id post it up neways
