Hey guys. i just bought a project 98 trans am and i can not get the alarm to fully disarm. if i use the key fob, it will lock and unlock the car, flash the lights. When i shut the car off from driving. the light on the dash instantly starts blinking. its like it only disarms if the car is running. i unpluged the shock sensor in hopes to fix the problem. anyone know what i can do to fix? Any help would sure be appreciated.

Is it the factory system with the factory key fob? If you put the key in the ignition and turn to ACCY, does the alarm shut off? Are you using the factory VATs key?
