Has anyone tried any headers other than 4th gen pacesetters in a 67-72 c10?

I can tell you that the Pacesetters didn't fit for **** on the one I did. The driver side outlet points right at the frame. We cut the collector on an angle and had flanges welded to them. Then once bolted to the engine wrapped a ratcheting tow strap around the headers and transmission to bend them in. Went till they hit the trans and then released it gave us perfect clearance. I'm sure it depends on what engine mounts are used too.

I built my own with BBC Flowtech headers and LSX flanges. Having some problems with #2 plug wire that could have easily been avoided if I wasn't such a moron.

73-81 lsx swap camaro headers from dynatech supposedly fit well and are priced nice.

And like mentioned above, I've also found the F-body headers to be a horrible fit for 67-72's. Not a good option by any means just because how the collectors angle out in funny directions.

I have a set of slp f-body headers that don't even kinda fit and everyone i've talked to say they used the pacesetters and trimmed the frame rails. I'll have to look into those dynatech headers. THANKS

I've got a 66, frames are the same. I'm running Trailblazer SS manifolds and they fit, but I couldn't find a full length other than Doug Thorley swap headers that fit.
