Test drove GTO for the first time today, everytime I went over 50 it beeped at me and alerted me that I was over 50mph. I;m guessing there is some way to turn this off or adjust it to different speeds?

To those who own GTOs, do you actual use this feature or find it annoying? i only drove about 10 miles and wanted to turn it off, but didnt want to figure it out for just a test drive.

I could see it being useful though so you dont get to crazy speeds... say set it to 60 or 70 if you are just driving around in the city just in case

Thoughts? This wasnt some tricky dealer way of counting how many times i exceeded 50 was it

lol its really easy to adjust or u can just turn it off in the menu uning the arrow buttons. i have mine set at 80

I've got a driving record full of freeway tickets, so I set mine to 75, so at least if I'm speeding on the freeway, I will have been told about it.

mine is set at 100.... its a good reminder..... hey this is your car.... you driving like an asshat... just wanted to remind you that your on your way to doubling the speed limit

my friend has his set at 201 mph, his theory is if is on the dash the car can do it lol...

its seen 180 with my fat *** and his in it... little 408 stroker... sounds mean as ****. every time i see it i reconsider a goat instead of another V1

Overspeed chime can be set higher and I agree it is stupidly annoying....

it sets in 5mph increments. Is there a programming mod to change it to something else? because I would love to have it set for like... 78 instead of 75. Course, with the DRs on 75 is more like 80 anyway.

I used to set mine for the track. When I was stock, I'd set it for 105. If it went off, then I knew I had a good run. Then 110 after doing mods. Then 115 after doing a cam, etc.

I can't remember what I have it set for now as its been so long since I've been to the track...Oct 06

i was beening sarcastic about the gto... its a garage queen. im sure you can some way... if yo can change the led colors theres gotta be something for that, even if its an AU thing
