Western Members - f body meets in the sgv?

so does any one know of fbody meets in the sgv? i heard of f'd up fbody club, i passed by some of their cars a while ago in el monte by lower azusa and peck rd. where do they meet up and when?

Maybe there can be a start up of meets in the SGV. That way we don't have to drive to Burbank, the IE, or other places for meets. Closer to us. There is one element I wish muscle car meets had that import meets seem to always have. Some know what I'm talking about, and some may guess it.

No more since the spots that were used got burned. Now they are used for real money races out of respect for those who are down to run. Too many people who just go out and race for fun and no money plus too much attention to the spots.

Personally, when you start setting shit up like that, groups start forming, people start hating and ruin it. Thats kinda what happened to the Diamond bar meets. After a while, that's all it was, people setting up races for $$$.

I would say keep this just a social gathering to talk ans Bullshit about cars. no competition.

Edwards parking lot is too public.
tab Tuesdays got raided a few times and that was near that store13 parking lot right by the edwards lot.
if people keep it cool and don't take things the wrong way about running$$ everything would be fine.

we used to have a set week. wed prep the cars for the track thurs. at the dale, and friday was our meet day either at the sams club parking lot on lower azusa or the burger king in south el monte off the 60 fwy.
hopefully we will be up and running soon. I need a driveshaft and some gears and im good. my brother is paintin his car.

LS1Adam it has been a freaking longtime! Yea we use to meet in Diamond Bar and head to the In n Out down off grand. Now the only meet that takes place that i go to is the Cal Poly Pomona car club meet on thurs from 7-10, but im about the most experienced person at street terrorizing which isnt saying much other than the weekly stop light war with a Honda to embarrass some smuck in front of his gf. CPP cant be affiliated with SR or we lose our charter, plus as of late we have gotten this real bitchy woman that has been writing us up for no front plates so... umm yea. But i would be down to go to a meet out around the SGV especially if close to my school during the week.

Tab Tuesdays kept getting bombed by cops bc dumb ricer fly bys and people thinking they are cool red lining their buckets.

I know where that Vons is in HH. I was thinking keep it more in the Covina, Alhambra, SG area.

What about Berts Mega Mall off Azusa. Everyone knows where that is. Thats were we used to meet up when we used to do Canyon Runs.

If not there, What about In & Out off Francisquito. Can hold a good 20-40 cars. Cops wont really give us shit as long as the Reving and Burnouts dont happen, and we have the luxury of being able to grab a bite or drink if you please. This is my #1 pick.

HEY, I forgot about the Home Dept off Azusa and Amar. There is a carl's JR, Yoshinoya, Round table, Jumba Juice. Its pretty hip little spot. and Its not all the way up in the Glendora area.

I recommend that place. 1000+ car Parking lot. Usually a lot of pople hang out, There are outside Tables and Stuff for the resturants.

A couple car crews have meets there with no issues.

The In n Out in Covina is cool. I use to go there on thursdays with the old school cars. It will be nice if we make a weekly meet there for modern cars a regular thing. BTW, we have met up before at the Bobs off the 10fwy in Covina and the Legends restaurant in Glendora. Legends is a neat place and already has a 50s hotrod theme to it. Just some ideas. Only thing is, whats up with the super late meet times? 10pm? Some people got lives at home and work the next day. Lol.
