Shift RPM?
So I have a predator tuner for my 04 gto LS1 and I assume the previous owner tuned this car, So the mods I have (many already know) American Racing longtubes, catless mids, spintech x-pipe and side boxes, and and the predator of course, So here's the thing, The Shift RPM is set to 6400 into second gear, and when I set the factory tune it still shifts at low and behold 6400 RPM.... that seems a little dangerous, I wanted to just go stock but the tune seems to be stuck on the car, So what I want to know simply is, how can I remove this tune, why when I try to flash factory tune back on it wont come off?!wtf?, and is this a bit much for a mostly stock motor? YIKES!

I had mine set at around 6400 rpms with the diablo handheld too. I don't think you will have to worry about hurting anything. I found from testing and tuning with it at the track that i would usually trap a bit better mph and run around a 1/10 quicker in the 1/4 when i had it shift at 6400 into 2nd as opposed to stock around 5900.
Only thing i could think of why it wouldnt return to stock tune when you load the stock tune back in is if the car already had a tune in it when they put the diablo in. If you remove the diablo and the car runs the same i would just sell it and make some extra mod money.
