Can I get dead hook from 315/35/17 nitto DRs?
Details:
405RWHP, Yank SS4000, 3500 lbs
I am thinking about entering the 12.0 index in San Antonio but I dont have any way to carry my et streets there. If I cant hook up then I have no chance.
I will probubly have to add some weight so I dont break out.

you can dead hook if you dont flash the convertor, and i never suggest adding weight, but more about lifting on the big end when braket racing.
otherwise, if you floor a 400 rwhp 3500 rpm stall convertor on a sidewall that is about 2" in height, what do you think? lol, go practice bro.

Thanks.
I dont have the 315 nittos yet. I am using this thread to gauge if they are even worth buying for this purpose. My street tires dont stick at all so I have no chance using them.

If you buy a new set then i dont think they will hook. I have a worn down set of 315 nittos that have dead hooked on me a lot. I am M6 with 400rw and have dead hook a few times at 5k. I have to do a big burnout at 15 psi and they hook very well.
