buy a used one on this board, a lot of people are switching to the electric, so they will have theirs off. I'm sure someone will let it go for around 30-50 bux

Cool

Haven't had any problems with the one in my current car, but had to replace it on my old LT1.

I got a remanufactured from Car Quest and drove over 2 years and 35K miles without any problems.

The funny part with that was the fact that the pump decided to take a dump in the middle of a 4-day road trip in this small town in the middle of nowhere in south Texas...

We got it fixed well, though. Local small shop swapped it for $150.00 but the guy said he'll never do it again for that cheap.

dunno if i should get a new one for $250 at the dealer or a remanufactured one for $160 at an autoparts store.

my friend runs one of these autoparts store cheapo ones in his 800rwhp Mustang...isn't this kinda crazy?

The reman will work just fine. It does come with a warranty anyway.

I have a spare used LS1 Waterpump that I would sell for $50 shipped.

Let me know.
