weird engine noise When I down shift going down the road at 60 my car makes a weird bumb in the rear of the car and the engine makes this rattlle sound as it down shifts and climbs in rpms. It doesn't sound like valves knocking idk what it could be

I used to get a tapping sound when I did alot of heavy driving as I would get near my 3k oil change date. I guess in my case it was cuz I either had a slight oil leak or my car just loves oil either way I would fix this by adding a little extra oil when I heard the light tapping and it cleared it right up. I usually drive with an extra quart in my car but only end up using about half when I hear it. It would tap faster the higher the rpms. I don't know if thats what you have going on but this is like a regular thing with my car.
