Nice cut on the 60 foot. Just curious what size cam you're running, as the mph seems to be on the low end...

Nice drop in et, but if you have a cam and p&p stock heads, you should easily be in the 11s which might be one of the reasons why you're not getting alot of comments. You did mention the weather was crappy though..

My mistake, I meant "SINCE" you have cam/p&p heads, not "IF".. However, you still should be in the 11s. As far as your stock p&p heads, it can hurt et/mph if they're not ported right.

the weather was very damp rain was all over the area and the wet air was not helping power, that and he cant drive for crap since he is used to his slow cavalier lol.

Your before and after are the perfect example of the old saying what ever you lose in 60' you can double for the 1/4. You dropped the 60' almost 4 tenths and lost .8 over all. I would say that convert was one of the best investments yet. I feel your pain on the air these motors don't run on water and thats all that was in the air that night. Good luck next time and good work Circle D

did you put drag radial's on @ the same time as the converter? just curious, we've gone easy 1.5's on stock motor'd car's w/a converter... get some suspension work done and you'll be in the 11's easy...

Everything looks ok except for the mph on both passes before the stall and after u are only picking up 22mph fromt the 1/8th 89.48mph mile to 111.74 at the 1/4 mph. Most cars I have driven/raced pickup 24+mph from the 1/8th to the 1/4mile. So i would start looking for restrictions, I'd start at the throttlebody forward on the intake side(FTRA or SUX2BU)mod helps, then the headers back. JMO MY old cam only LT1 ran 1.64 60', 7.70's@89mph 1/8th, 12.00@113mph with stock heads. I swapped the heads for a ported set (stock valves) and ran 1.58 60', 7.43@93mph, 11.61@117mph. Maybe you are getting knock retard or get it dynoed. Later

it is tuned. everything checks out ok.
not sure why everyone puts so much on MPH. what i mean is, ive seen cars run 13s at 108-110 mph. and ive also seen cars run low 12s at the same mph.

What was DA?
With that size converter and mods, car should be in the 1.5s.
Seem to be common with circle D. Anyone k.ow if they flash a little lower than advertised?

If you have the slip still... Google drag times da calculator... it will let you know the da as well as corrected times.

i dont put too much stock in those online calculators. but according to that DA calculator it would of been 11.924 @ 113.20 mph.

Nice gain with the circle d. Whats your raceweight. Your mph diff seems be low for ur mods. You may wana look into that. My bolton lt1 trapped 108.

511 is actually a very good DA.
There is definitely more in that setup. Race weight Is a little high but that isn't it. I would definitely expect that converter to be In the 1.5 range with given mods.

1st i would get that pig on a diet. lol Wats your tune look like. Afr, timing, dyno numbers? What are the shift points and gear u are running. U diff got some more in your set up. Youll get in the 11s with ease.

i had the car weighed 2 years ago when i 1st got it. ill weigh it again this weekend with me in it since the car and myself lost weight since the 1st weigh in.
a family member tuned my car. he did it before and owns a garage and dyno where he does this for others. im thinking with more practice ill be faster. there is another track in my area which i want to go to if it ever stops raining.

how hard are u turning the motor

6800 rpm
didnt get a chance to weigh the car either. storms on friday dump 2 inches of water at the track. and saturday their was a bunch of cars by tech and thats where the scale is.

Something is up with that setup...6800 rpms with cam ported heads etc etc and a decent converter, should be decently quicker than that.
