Elk City car show, burnout, street race June 4th in Elk City, Oklahoma is their annual car show. car entry fees are 20 bucks for show only, 25 bucks for car show and race, or 40 for race only.
I dont have any more info right now. i live in enid, so i'm getting some info mailed to me this week. i'm entering my car this year. hope to see some of you there.

cool. shoot me a pm if you do. i grew up there, and people love their cars. we still tell stories of the hot rod power tour when it came through in 02/03 somthing like that. my cousin and i started some burnouts and it turned into an all day affair

Sounds good I will keep you informed I didnt know the power tour ever went through elk city thats pretty cool and I think I might have to pass on the burnouts they dont agree with the tranny lol

Hey the stock LS1 is a beast if you let it loose lol I went through about 5 transmissions and it was pretty much stock I have settled down since then since they quit warrantying them lol

friday- open cruise night downtown 8pm to 10pm
saturday- car show at 8am to 3pm
burnouts 1pm
awards 3pm
loud exhaust and frozen t-shirt contests
arm drop drags from 5pm to 9pm (or later)
no motorcycles or quads allowed on drag friday night
entry fees:
show only $20
show and race $25
race only $40
$10,000 in cash and prizes and $1,000 best of show.
all that is off the flyer i got. i called the number and they mailed me a flyer. it has a part you tear off and mail in to register. if you want to enter the show you can probably arrange it by phone still.

well in all my prep and packing of cleaning stuff i forgot my video camera 
so i took some cell phone pics
my car:
and someone's ss that was killer. it did the 1/8 mile unprepped street race on a solo run in 6 seconds with 3 quick bursts of throttle smoking the tires the whole way. just no way he could hook up on a city street.
