I have a new to me Camaro and 2nd gear is occasionally grinding and at times won't go in. I want to rebuild the tranny myself with upgraded parts. Carbon fiber blocker rings, metalic fork pads steel 3-4 fork and billet keys. If I went ahead and ordered a 1-2 synchro along with these would that be sufficient with only 68K on the car? Or should I install a custom rebuild kit? I don't race this car and I don't want it down long as it is a vert and I'll drive it every sunny day we get. I have repaired the tranny on my old one so I know my way around them. I just don't want to get it torn down and be waiting on parts. Thanks for your help.
