12 Second Club - first time with heads and cam

On the 12.6 pass they've accidently put me as car 052 instead of 062. Mods are in sig. The 12.7 was with a passenger as well. Needless to say that didn't last very long ha ha:nod:

You should get you a set of D/R and see what she well do then:nod:.I think your car can run fastter that with the mods you got. Congrats on your pass.

I've got a set in the building I'm just afraid of throwing pieces of 10 bolt all through the floorboard. It all ready screams at me.

h/c stick car trapping 115? the car needs one or all of the following mods:

live tune
tires
driver
-passenger

seems kind of slow as it sits, even with a passenger (unless he/SHE hahah weighed 500lbs). i'd expect 120+ out of a setup like that, street tires or not.

I've got sumitomo tires anywhere in 2nd gear it'll kick sideways just stabbing the throttle and I thought I would trap higher than that as well but it definatley needs a tune. I've got it parked because of a miss at low rpms sometimes. It always had it but I thought maybe I had a bad plug but after 3 sets and some new wires I think its in the tune. The other pass it trapped 117 but still like you said I expected somewhere in the 120s. I'm gonna get it dyno tuned as soon as I can get ahold of a tuner. They're only one I know of near where I live.

I see your from VA what track are you running at VMP or Richmond..

Get your 60' down and your a mid-high 11 second car

Yes, good trap speed. But 12.7 is horrible for heads cam car, I think your 60' is killing you.

Yeah with tires and practice you have an 11 second car all day long.
