Default 12" Stealth enclosure?

I dont' see it on Kee Audio's site anymore...does anyone still make these?

I have a home-made fiberglass enclosure for my passenger side, that works well, but looks like hell. Plus I don't want to hack up that sail panel, so I'm currently running without it even in there...

thanks for the reply edobi21. I'd like to avoid having to cut up a 10" enclosure, for sure...
*sigh*

I am working on doing some again. It won't be until after the first week in June though. I have a new technique I am using for fiberglass and will be making the 12" stealth enclosures again. I have made several in the past, just didn't have the time nor was there much demand.
I am also working on a new stealth enclosure for 10" that will be able to handle large subs like RE Audio SE10, Massive DC10, Alpine Type R 10", and several others.

Hey buddy i left you a voice mail and you never returned my call. Hell if you could build a box for 12's that would save me from having to buy new subs

My Apologies!! I get a ton of calls and sometimes I don't get to all of them before the mail box fills up again. I get a little overwhelmed at times.
I have built several 12" stealth enclosures but it is tedious. I think my new fiberglassing technique will hopefully cut down on time without sacrificing quality.
I fully intend to have my mount built and get glassing after the first week in June to get these built. I am also working with another carpenter to get some more stealth boxes made that will accommodate large motor subs. He is confident that he can build that for me so we will see.

I got mine from Kee I think a little over a year ago. I had to trim a little of the lip on the rear panel to clear the sub, but it otherwise fits pretty nice. I'll see if I can't get a picture of it up tomorrow.

Kee, do you know how many cubes you plan on having with the 12" stealth enclosure? And will you be doing just the driver side or passenger side as well?

I have made a couple of passenger side ones from mdf a few times for in house customers. Never done one of those in glass but I could.
The 12" glass enclosure has the same as the 10" which is very close to .8ft^3.
Let me see how far I get with these in the next week or 2.

Any way I can have a couple made to fit the boston acoustics SPG555 oval sub?

Both driver side one for me and one for my brother.

I will look at the specs on that sub and see what I can do. The biggest I have ever done was for a 12" L5 Solobaric. It was VERY tight but it worked. I may be able to do that. I will be getting into all of that this weekend with the new fiberglass technique and some other things I have been brain storming.

The only reason is because I already have a few of these subs in another car and would love to move one into the TA, my brother already bought one too, and we were going to try and build our own box but I already know what kind of headaches we will have working together

The cut out hole is 13 3/16" X 10 7/16, they usually call for 1^3' of air in a sealed enclosure so at .8^' you are closer than most of the others out there.

Do you know if your fiberglass boxes will yield any more volume?

Thanks

+1
I already have an Alpine type R 12", brand new in the box. If you make a stealth enclosure for a 12 sub, for the TA, I'm on board. PM me when they are ready.

Alright guys I know I haven't gotten this done yet but I am going to do it soon. I will have a little time coming up after July 4th. Most of my family will be out of town and I may actually be able to get some fabrication done. I plan on making a big announcement when I get about 4 done if not more.
