need LSD recommendations for drifting... obviously.
So i took my z28 out to a local drift event and was not thrilled with the performance of the stock auburn. after some reading, it makes sense. its designed so your every day consumer cant spin both tires going straight at WOT. and thats about it.
i need a limited slip that will keep both tires locked around corners, while on acceleration, off acceleration, and even while on the brakes.
known in the drift community as a 2-way differential.
does anyone make a unit like this for the stock 4th gen?
would it even be worth it on stock 10 bolt rear?
ideally i would love a nice moser or fab9. but for now just the unit itself would be a vast improvement. my car puts down about 380 to the wheels, so that shouldnt destroy the stock rear. however due to the driveline abuse dished out on a drift course, that could all change real quick.
so if you all could be so kind as to suggest brands i should look into, i would highly appreciate it.
I'm getting about $1,000 to blow on the car for my B-day in june so i think this is what i should invest in.
Thanks!

I actually took some time to read *gasp!* and seems m6 tends to blow out spools? Havent seen why yet, but other than that, yeah a spool semms to be the right function i need. Posi is just too sloppy, and lockers only work on accel.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I recommend staying away from LSD. it's bad stuff. As for the rear end, yes, a M6 car will blow up a spooled 10 bolt. It will also blow up ANY 10 bolt. I love the detroit trutrac, but I doubt it would be good for ballet.. i mean drifting. It's funny how some people would only use a spool at the dragstrip, but should you want to purposely break traction going around corners, it will work well for that as well. obviously

Lincoln makes a pretty good locker, as well as Miller. They're about the same price for any rearend you decided to use one in..
