Based on the limited info provided, I would suggest a large cube BBC engine with a healthy dose of N2O, might also consider a roots blower.

Of course everyone need more info, but also what do you consider torquey? Alot of people would say a stock camero/ TA is a torquey street car. Some people would say its torquey if you can pick the front wheels up. what are you trying to get out your car, and what will you be using it for?

Sorry for posting under 2 different names, i couldnt figure out my new account name....but my car is an 01 trans am A4, all stock.....all i have right now is an air lid, an a flowmaster catback which came with the car....a few people suggested i start with longtube an y pipe....i figured that would kill my bottom end power.....its a daily driver so i just want a lil bit more power than stock.....to make a long story short...my brother has an 06 trailblazer ss(its stock) and i wanna be able to smoke em whenever.....we havnt raced yet cuz he stays in texas but when he does drive it to memphis, i wanna be able to spank off on em

I don't know a lot about trailblazers but id hope that u could kick his *** pretty good if ur both stock. Cam and headers are the way to go I'd say. Or NO2 if you're up for it but I'm no expert.

Just a few bolt ons should get you where you want. Tires will be your biggest help because the trail has all wheel drive. Stock both the ta and the sstrail run about 13.5 in a 1/4mile

I would also add some big, meaty, sticky tires!! Not for torque, but for putting all the power down!
