Default Top speed run video

Well Ive never topped my car out past 140 and my tuner left it at the factory limiter and never told me what is was set to. Enjoy the vid and let me know if you guys have the same factory limiter or not. BTW if your wondering what I have done to my car: K&N drop in filter, cat removed, Magnaflow Magnapack muffler where the resonator was, 2.5" pipe all the way back, and a Klug Performance tune is all.

My shift points are set at 6100 but my rev limiter it set at 7000. I just held it out to about 6500 in second to see how it pulled shifting there.

This is where my limited knowledge comes in, I thought fuel cutoff was 6200 RPMs? Can that be moved? Is it healthy for the stock internals going to 6500?

I know stock LS1s could be reved to 7200 no prob the problem is with the stock cam you are prolly out of the power ban. I just held out second to see if i could hit 110mph in second. I am prolly going to have my tuner remove my speed limiter, leave my rev limiter to 7krpms and set my shift points to 6400rpm and have him do some logging to see if im still making good power still at 6400 vs the 6100 im set at now. Here is a stock dyno chart to show how with the stock cam the power starts to trail off.

When are you going to go over 143? Only time I go over 75, now, is the drag strip, unless it's a big autocross course.

I dont know, ive never been over 103 in my car(end of 2nd) but it would be nice to know that the car can do what it can do and not be stopped.
