Well it's time to sell the Bird. I love it, but priorities have changed and I'm trying to move out this summer and need it gone.
2001 Firebird Formula, black on black and loaded with the exclusion of leather. 77,600 miles. The car is located in Lees Summit, Mo near Kansas City
Engine mods:
Factory LS6 intake
ASP underdrive pulley
Pacesetter ceramic coated LTs, ORY, 12 inches of pipe and a bullet dumped before the rear axle
Ported TB
MSD wires
SLP lid with K&N filter
JUSTUNE
Transmission:
Mike Leighty built 4l60E
Precision Vigilante 4000 stall
Upgraded clutches and steels
Vette servos
Beast sunshell
Poly trans mount and torque arm mount
Large trans cooler
Appearance mods wheels/tires
VFN WS6 hood
Summit Drag Thrust wheels with shallowed caps
15x4 in the front with brand new Mickey Thompson Sportsmans
15x8 in the rear with brand new Mickey Thompson ET Streets ( 275/60/15s )
Other stuff:
4.10 gears that are LOUD. I have the factory 3.23s and a set of 3.73s that go with the car
Removal of front and rear bumper support
Removal of A/C unit (have entire setup cleaned and capped)
Removal of ABS and TC unit (won't work with the varying tire sizes)
Removal of cruise control with single throttle cable
Chromoly LCA's with poly bushings
Weld in subframe connectors
New rotors and pads in the front
New calipers and pads in the rear
GM aluminum driveshaft
The car had a small oil leak when I bought it, I replaced every engine gasket except for the head gaskets and the car does not leak anything at all.
I also put a new waterpump on the car. For anyone wondering I'm an ASE certified mechanic and the work was done correctly. The new gaskets and waterpump have less than 1K miles on them.
Interior is 9.5/10
Exterior is 8/10 has spider cracks on both bumber covers and the typical bubbles in the sail panel
Car runs/drives perfect and runs VERY well for the mods done to it. People will vouch for this car and the way it runs!
I also have boxes of stock parts that will go with the car. Factory hood, hatch, spare interior switches, AC parts, and more.
Best pass I've made in it is a 12.12 @ 110. Low 1.5 60 ft times. ( Best of 1.51 )
