Default 6L90e tune and cooler.

I am swapping a L92/6L90e into my 67 Camaro. I have a Pro Torque 3000 stall 10" converter, and have put an aggressive cam (most I could do before fly cutting the pistons), and LS3 intake. and a VVT delete kit. I am also putting Twistmachine paddles on it as well.

I am having a hard time finding anyone willing to tune my TCM. Does anyone know of someone who will bench tune it, or be willing to sell a tune that I could have someone up load onto it? The company building my wiring harness uses HP Tuners, so it would be great to install a tune when they do the PCM.

I am also looking for a tranny cooler, any suggestions?

Thank you for your help!

Bob

First of all I can give a tune that will work if HP Can Modify the Engine Cal.
Were do you Live and who at HP is working on your wiring harness?

I live in MN, but an sending my TCM to PSI Conversions in NJ. (If I can get the TCM out, it does not seem to want to let go of the bottom of the tranny). I appreciate your help!

Lower the whole VB. Two bolts go in the side of VB.

That makes sense. I didn't know if it would be a bad idea to do that? I suppose it shouldn't do any harm?

Thanks

Got it out. Thanks for your help.

Is the HP Tuner file easy to send?

You are welcome. It is relatively easy to lower the vb assembly.

Thanks for your help, I did get it out.

What would you recommend for a tune? I have been told that an aggresive tune can kill the 6L's (closer to stock settings are safer). What's you opinion? Have you tuned a lot of 6L's before?

Exclamation

What's the 6L90 out of. There are different OS in various 6L90's. I had a serious setback tuning the 6L90 in the TBSS because I thought I could just rewrite it with the 6L80 from the other Trailblazer. Do you have tuning software?

We did a best of 13.98, but this was a good run.

I was wrong, I have a 6L80e. Zero Gravity Performance is helping me tune it. Jim Miller was a GM Cal engineer for 25 years, and knows his stuff. Perhaps he could help you?
