Ok, a buddy at work has a 09 GXP auto. He has A Roto Fab intake, and kooks mid-length's, and is now ready to do a cam and get everything dyno tuned. He DOES NOT want to have to run a Stall, (Wife's Daily Driver), what would you guys suggest as far as cam spec's Go? Looking for a powerband of 2000-6800 RPM. Any GOOD shops in the Memphis/Nashville area's? Any help is appreciated.

I would get in touch with Pat G and fill out the info sheet and have him spec one for you. Its going to be very detailed and exactly what you are looking for. Very great guy!

Livernois makes great cam kits made for a stock stall. Give them a call.

I'm running the Livernois 1c cam with stock stall and no issues. Barely noticeable at idle as well.

seems like big numbers come out of the Livernois stage 1 with stock converter

Will the wife even notice a stall? Its an automatic, a nice tight 2600 or 2800 stall to hide a decent cam I doubt she would even notice if shes not going to notice the cam.

My wife drives my car with a 3600 stall with no problems, but then again she usually drives a manual everyday so any auto is pretty easy.

I would be in the same boat, I would like the power gains of the cam but dont want the high stall. 2200-2500 would be the most I would want. I dont drag race so I am not worried about getting out of the hole like most do.
