Default Fuel cooler location

I'm installing a heat sink in the fuel lines and I was planning on putting it in the return line. However, the B&G instructions say to put it on the high pressure side, is that going to be as effective in keeping the tank cooler? Here's their manual:

Carb practice is to put it in the feed line to cool before the carb. You want to add it on the return to keep fuel cool in the tank.

Thanks for the info, I'll place it in the return line.
