Default breaking valves

here is what I have found in 2 sets of ls3 heads with the same spring retainer and keeper set up. 153 400 open spring Correct installed height

8 valves in 1 set with 600 miles on them never reved over 6000 and only about a dozen times

1 in my set of heads with 30-40 miles and 6500 1 pass a couple times on the street

Stock valves stock rockers geometry is good

Are you refering to the hardened waffer on the tip of the valve? The pics are a bit blurry. They are manufactured that way. We have some new valves that look the same way.
