Default is my idle too high?

I just installed a ported throttle body and my car is now idleing at 800-900 rpms....apposed to the 600-700 it was idleing b4 the throttle body, i dont think its ok that it does that is it? Everytime i get a red light and i hut the brakes it stops but once i release them it kinda jumps out of the hole as if i was trying to race? What can i do?

Sounds like the IAC valve or there is too much air getting into the motor. If you have your stocker throw it back on. I forget if stockers have an adjustment screw but if you do, you can turn it down.

I dont think it could be a.vacum leak because the throttle cam doesnt sit on the adjuster screw!
