2006 GTO upgrade clutch.
Wassup guys, I'm new to the GTO Ls2 setup. I'm looking for a upgrade clutch, which clutch do u guys prefer? Should I get a lighter flywheel also? Thanks

It all comes down to your planned usage and torque output. Let me know what kind of driving you do and what kind of torque the car makes (or if it is stock or has some bolt ons/boost/nitrous) and I will be happy to assist you with a recommendation. You can check the link below for information relative to this application. We also offer both steel and aluminum flywheels for this vehicle too. Steel will be more "stock-like" in feel of course because it is closer to the stock flywheels weight. Aluminum on the otherhand will reduce the weight of the rotating assembly and allow the car to gain and lose RPM more quickly. It will also require more RPM's when leaving from a stopped position. For most daily driven cars the steel flywheel will be a better option.

i also am looking for a new clutch i have a 05 gto ls2. right now it has a intake and straight pipes. i just bought a 175 nitrous kit. it will also soon have a magnacharger on it. any suggestions?

Rock, what will you be shooting for in terms of torque output when the car is complete? Will the car see street duty and track time as well? Let me know and I will be happy yo make a suggestion. Thanks!
